Before launching Apollo Legal Group, I spent a decade practicing at a boutique employment law firm, representing California employers in complex workplace matters. Before becoming an attorney, I spent 12 years inside a Fortune 200 public utility company with more than 20,000 employees.
During those years, I worked in numerous roles—including employee, supervisor, manager, project manager, human resources professional, and labor relations representative. That experience gave me something legal training alone cannot provide: a firsthand understanding of how workplace decisions are actually made, implemented, communicated, and challenged.
Today, I draw on more than two decades of combined legal and operational experience to advise and defend employers throughout California. My practice encompasses day-to-day employment advice and counseling, wage-and-hour compliance, employee leaves and accommodations, workplace investigations, employee discipline and termination, employment agreements and policies, government audits and administrative proceedings, and employment litigation.
I understand that employers rarely need a purely academic explanation of the law. They need practical guidance that accounts for their workforce, business operations, culture, financial realities, and long-term goals. I am known for developing creative, outside-the-box solutions, identifying risks before they become claims, and providing fierce representation when disputes cannot be avoided.
As someone who also understands the responsibilities and pressures of a family-owned business, I recognize that employment decisions are rarely “just legal.” They affect people, operations, reputations, and livelihoods. My goal is to provide clients with clear answers, pragmatic solutions, and the confidence to make difficult decisions and move their businesses forward.
